Found at work

I rolled over a very rotten log and this creature was curled up there feeding on the soggy wood.



Quite a face, huh? I didn't let it dig into me with those mandibles. Hard to know for sure, but I suspect this one will grow up to be a reddish-brown stag beetle

Ruthling thinks she's confused! This pic was at the top of my second page of updates, and for a second when it popped up I thought the fingers were pairs of jeans and the grub was as big as a medium sized dog! Haha!
