Our shitty work knifes are now organized and hanging from a magnet. I want to get a 20 dollar Japanese knife (a santoku, if I'm googling correctly) so I can chop greens and sweet potatoes without cramping my hand.

the left and second from right knives look like the same basic design/shape (if not serrated). second is bread knife? fourth looks like a chef knife that had a bad day :> let's not talk about the spoon.

What about those sharpener things? Also there are sharpener guys? Also there's the GoodWill. The Salvation Army discriminates against teh gays so I don't go there.

Love the magnetic knife holders. I've only ever failed a place for a dirty knife holder of that type once. Unlike the kind that come on and off the wall for cleaning that, even when they *don't* bolt or screw it to the wall, they will forget to clean, even when putting knives in it in between use & before cleaning. I have a picture of a wall with a magnetic knife holder in the queue for a doorwindowwall community post.
