We do a red-bellied 'head start' program here and I get to feed the turtles Sun and Mon. They are SO CUTE!!! And they are all named Fred. :)

I always think snappers are as close to dinosaurs that I will ever see. That little guy is a crazy mix of aged species and baby soul.

Both crocodilians and turtles were contemporaneous with dinosaurs (which is a fun fact for turtle demos).

quite true! I just don't live around crocs so never think about them. i tend to worry a great deal, though, about snappers meeting up with my dogs. not that much would probably happen, but I have vet bill anxiety.
