I HAD A TRANSISTOR RADIO THAT LOOKED LIKE THAT. Except mine was from 35 years ago and was red, white, and blue with a big 70s-font "'76" on the front. For the bicentennial!

hah. i'm getting rid of antiques this week... MODEMS. stuff like that. probably an atari mega4STE, oohm 4 MEG of ram. wow. snazzy. i love antiques, but well, i want my space back now [filling with other antiques]

Seriously - it amazes me how every few years it all changes, and all that was sleek and modern and futuristic suddenly looks as though it was designed in a Soviet tractor factory.
