Had to run an errand in JP. We're looking over toward Olmsted Park in this snap.


The Grevy's zebras are suspicious of me clambering about on the giraffe feeding platform, which is closed for the season.

I'd be pretty suspicious of anyone clambering on my giraffe feeding station too!

I saw zebras in Kenya but their stripes were larger and less regular and I don't remember the funny ears. Zebras make me happy. They are like "designer" donkeys.

Kenya has two species of zebras--the other kind sounds like the kind you saw: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grant%27s_Zebra (which also happens to be the other species we have at our zoo)
