On the Mass Pike, coming back from my Dad's house. (Notice the turkey vulture in the top left.)

We went for a walk in a park between my old elementary school and the new high school.

I was kind of surprised to find this old barn nearby. My dad and I both wondered how the high school kids hadn't burned it down yet.

I had to go inside for creepy adventure.

This is view from my dad's hotel room, where he's staying while they repair the fire damage in his house.

I saw a pair of turkey vultures yesterday. They look so majestic up in the sky!

Has anyone determined the cause of the fire yet? I heard something about a car spontaneously combusting, or maybe immolating itself in protest, like a maligned monk. . .

That's what I assume happened. But what was it protesting?

A car that was routinely flogged on the highways and byways of the Northeast according to the whims of a near-deaf, half-blind, slightly-crazed geriatric?

One can only speculate what might've been the source of it's complaint. The man's hard on his cars; always has been.
