Brooklyn

Some of my old friends from Boston let me stay at their place in Brooklyn. One night we walked around the neighborhood. Here's a couple shots of the Gowanus Canal.





Also their cat, Mo (or perhaps Moe).

I did. I didn't get to spend enough time doing stuff, though.
I liked the area around the canal, I thought it was weird that there were a lot of vacant properties, it seems like it could be a very cool (hip? expensive?) neighborhood with just a little investment.

They mega-cleaned it up. Many people still remember the stench. You could almost walk on it.
