Last Monday (the 21st! I'm over a week behind) I stayed home sick from work. Cuddling Maggie made me feel a little better. I had some kind of sore throat sickness; it felt like I'd smoked a carton of unfiltered cigarettes (I hadn't). For a short scary time I was convinced I had Strep which I seemed to get every year when I was a kid. I dreaded the throat cultures more than anything--injections, drop-the-pants-and-cough, anything would be better than the tongue depressor on my gag reflex.

sorry to hear about the sore throat thing.....we get em out here too and I seriously think it's allergies...we get tons of pollen oput here on everything...it covers the porch and the car under the carport...ick..

I love that picture of your Maggie...she looks just like our Dakota in profile...but our doggie is a mix and seems a bit chunkier than your skinny puppy!!
