Wild black raspberries hell yes! (asakiyumi posted something similar, more poetic, yesterday)


A beautiful and easy to recognize Russula I call "crackle-top," turns out to be in taxonomic flux as DNA studies show a difference between similar Old World and New World species. For the moment we'll call it Russula virescens/crustosa.


Five years ago today, I arrived in Honolulu apparently. Oh the next few of these will make me sad.
