Secret to getting Maggie to look at me for the snapshot: "Hey Maggie! Is there a CAT?" Please note puppy sleeping under picnic table.

Today is Bb's last full day with us. Tomorrow I take him to the transfer point in the trunk of my car where he'll be exchanged for a briefcase full of unmarked bills. A double-cross, a gunfight, and I scoop him back up and drive back to our house where he jumps out to play with our dogs again, as i slump across the steering wheel dead from a stomach wound. It was worth it.

A series of weird circumstances resulted in me bringing home twenty pounds of frozen carbon dioxide. Mostly I broke it into chunks and dropped in into water to watch it boil and make fog. I also dropped a piece into a glass of bourbon, making the booze very cold and infusing it with the taste of alka seltzer. Would Not Recommend. It would be great to get more dry ice for halloween, but I would have to engineer another series of weird circumstances. Or buy some for ten bucks at Brookline Ice and Coal.

If there is still some left, toss a chunk with a small amount of water into a plastic soda bottle and pop the top back on. Good idea to do this outside away from the thunderphobe dogs. The plastic will stretch furthur than you can imagine, and the resulting bang when it let's go is fairly awesome

a friend of mine filled his kitchen sink with water and then dropped in the dry ice, which you can apparently buy in regular grocery stores. Very cool effect.

What would happen if you dropped a chunk in something hot, like a cup of coffee?
