3:00 snapshot #1142 One last time with the puppy

I had Alexis hold Turtle for yesterday's snapshot, mostly to show how big he's gotten, but in part because I suspected he's getting adopted soon. We got the call today, that he'll be going to his forever home next Saturday. We're relieved, delighted, and devastated. I think I'm taking this one the hardest yet. There are other puppies from the same litter that might need foster homes, but Alexis and I agree that we're emotionally exhausted and could use a little break.

I completely understand! I don't know how you guys do it! I do know that there are a lot of fortunate puppies who are glad you do.
