What's the name of that movie where the museum exhibits come to life at night? Is it Jurassic Park? Here's a feathery little t-rex--the museum's approximation of a seven year old animal.

Poor

He was quite a hit! Very realistic movements.

Then he marched himself into his parking spot.

And dangled from clips. The exhausted puppeteer dropped out, soaking wet and panting on the floor. He described it was "like wearing a 75 pound backpack." A 75 pound backpack that you are inside of and also it's covered with feathers.

Another one of my favorite natural history things: my favorite fossil, an ammonite. This happens to be the biggest ammonite ever found, a 4 foot diameter leviathan.

How'd that cat get in here?

A charming little mantis on exhibit.

A future entomologist makes good use of the museum equipment! Rock on future entomologist!
