Visiting (meeting) LJ friends #3, #4; May Urban Nature Walk

Last Sunday I led an Urban Nature Walk in the Riverway. As it turned out, 2 Livejournal friends (who I'd never met before) came along! We went to the Studios Without Walls outdoor art exhibit. I was frankly disappointed with the quality of the art this time around, but this piece was pretty good.




We all kind of agreed that the tree anenomes piece was a good one, too.


We picked a pretty perfect place and time to walk, at least if you like flowering crabapple and ornamental cherry trees.


Some of the views in the Riverway make me happy year round.


This is the only "organism" type photo from the walk, of an unknown fly. (I also took photos of muskrats and flickers, but they turned out crappy.)


This was another fun piece. I caught Alex as she stuck her head in to find the various hidden treasures within.
