On Monday, I received a phone call at precisely three o'clock.

Sunday was the AAZK Masquerade Ball! It was started many years ago--a fundraiser for the zookeeper association that takes place (in part) in the butterfly exhibit, and therefore is called "Moth Ball." It has outgrown the butterfly exhibit, and has taken place at various other locations, but this year we returned it to its place of origin.

We had live music! (This gentleman was one of four talented singer/players that entertained us that night).

If you have a Victorian Plague Doctor outfit then you can't miss the Masquerade Ball!

The interns were a little disappointed that not everyone dressed up to the degree that they did, but c'mon, they're young and full of energy. (And own nicer clothes than I do).
