This is my view of the door to the zoo hospital, as I walk there from my office. I took my 3:00 alarm very strictly this time, freezing in my tracks to take the picture.


Earlier that day (last Thursday) I took this shot of a white board in the Stone Zoo keeper's lounge. I really like the cartoon of the prehensile-tailed porcupine.

Awww... I love the porcupine. Also: there's an Arctic Fox? I must see the Arctic Fox the next time I'm up there! (I have no idea when this will be, which complicates things a bit.)
