Charlie update

The vet surprised me by calling on Saturday, just as Alexis and Bec were getting into the car to go to Vermont. She said the cells from the growth on his side were just fat, not cancer or pure concentrated evil. His bloodwork was normal, too, so we can't blame his crankiness on thyroid issues. Basically he's just getting older, maybe his brain is eroding a little bit, maybe he's just god damned tired of everything. That's my boy!

EDITED to ADD: Gouda (foster puppy) has received an increase in his Prednisone dose, and it's literally improved him over night. His manatee muzzle has gone down to normal puppy dimensions and his ear canals are visible again (they were swollen shut).

Good news about Gouda! Though those pictures were the cutest things I've ever seen. If I lived anywhere near you I'd have adopted that little pink manatee pig-dog in a heartbeat (and I'm not a dog person.)

Glad to hear Charlie is merely Old & Cranky and not sick. Even though Gouda looked super cute as BatManatee it's good he's on the mend.
