In the Children's Zoo Wetlands exhibit, in the small amount of water unfrozen, a female goldeneye.


Male hooded merganser, female bufflehead, female goldeneye.

Ducks always make me laugh. I have no idea why except that look like purses, waddle when they walk and say "quack". They are like the Groucho Marks of the bird world.
