3:00 snapshot #1564: Puppy weekend

We took on three 7 week old puppies this weekend--they arrived on Friday and just left a few minutes ago. Pretty fun short term project, but three is definitely at least one too many for easy care. We only have two arms!



On Friday I came home from work and Alexis' coworker was there to visit the puppies, all thoroughly asleep on her lap.


Here's one way to try to get them all outside at once! We scrapped it when it turned out it was too difficult to get them in the bag in the first place.


Once outside they found this black shiny play structure they could climb on!


When my dad came over he had to fend off several vicious pit bulls!


Eventually he subdued two of the most ornery ones.


When Alex came over they seemed more manageable.


Mostly they wanted to sleep in laps.

Well, I did none of the cleaning up. Beloved Wife got to do some cleaning up, but not as much as if we had them for the duration!

we were blessed with cooperative weather that allowed us to be outside most of the time and i am SO GRATEFUL for that!!
