Maggie's tender side

Maggie mostly teaches the foster puppies how to respect the authority of a crazy reactive old lady dog. But she mostly tolerates Turkey. She sometimes deals with her anxiety by licking things (usually human feet or legs) and here she's licking a very confused Turkey.

This I didn't expect. They slept like this for a good length of time, and Maggie didn't wake up to correct him.

Well he sort of looks like a mini version of the Old Man dog... You think this why?

Naw. I'm currently raising a kitten with two older cats doing the teaching so I appreciate this scene of harmony.

Any chance of a "foster failure" happening here?

Nope. He's cute and all, but we've got two dogs already. Our next dog (when one of our elderly dogs dies) will have to be pretty exceptional.

The only reason I asked is because of Maggie's seemingly unusual tolerance of Turkey.

We have two elderly cats, whom I love dearly, and can't imagine ever "replacing", so I understand.

It is pretty weird, but she yells at him pretty often too. :)
