What Class Should I Take?

I'm about to sign up for a continuing ed class to take in the Fall. While I'd love to take say, field ornithology, comparitive anatomy and evolution, invertebrate paleontology or applied animal behavior, I'm limited to what my chosen school (Mass. College of Art) is offering. By the way, I'm doing this to fulfill my degree requirements; needed: One art history, one literature/film criticism and two electives.

Here's my dilemma.
Should I take a fun class, for example, A clay class with a professor I know and like--clay has nothing to do with my life, but I have enjoyed using it in the past.

Or should I take a practical class, like photoshop (in preparation for taking web design, so that some day I can have a website to fill in the domain name space that I've been paying for for 3 years).

Or (since I'm not a terrific student) should I take a class that will be kind of a chore (any art history for example, or a film criticism class specialising on "French New Wave") in order to get it over with and save the fun classes for dessert?

Or should I take a writing class, since ostensibly I'm a writer, and then I would be working on my craft or whatever. (Though the writing classes are on genres that I'm not involved in: Dramatic Film, Childrens Books, poetry)

Any suggestions? Aren't you glad I didnt mention my vasectomy? Whoops! Dammit.

Oh, and I was hoping you WOULD mention your vasectomy. David was supposed to get one just before our wedding in June, but changed his mind about the timing. Now he's kind of procrastinating... Maybe if he heard a first hand acount of what he needs to be prepared for, he'd feel better about it all.

Well, I go under the knife (actually,scissors, I suspect) Monday. I'll definitely be bringin' the experience to livejournal. As it is, if David is anything like me, powerful antianxiety drugs are your new best friend. I've had trouble sleeping, had my intestines in knots and I've been driving Alexis buggy with my constant stress. So now I'm on Lorazepam ("Atavan") and things seem to be much better. I got a full night sleep without once imagining the sound of the blades meeting after passing through my living skin. See also child_free_life
