Here are some things I learned recently.
Bats are a real pain to take care of. At least, moving one hundred bats from one enclosure to another is a real pain. Aemii's zoo should get a lot of credit for dealing with these freaks every day. Although mine are microchiroptera, which makes some difference probably.
Portland Oregon is so nature-friendly that goats take the bus.
New Zealand has a children's hospital called "the Starship," which I learned from the sentence, "The child wandered into the dog's area and was attacked, suffering quite serious injuries and has been taken to the Starship"
It's my brother's birthday tomorrow. I knew that, but I suddenly remember it every June. So wish him a happy one, because he carries a machine gun.
