The mushrooms are popping up all over the place.  I have a great picture of the winecap stropharias that should become a More Urban Species entry.  Mulberries continue to be delicious, but we struck out with blueberries.  They were all still green down at Borderlands State Park.  Today we had our urban nature walk at Belle Isle Marsh in East Boston.  Besides mushrooms and mulberries, there were a ton of cool birds, and a ton of plants that I couldn't identify.  I'll have to bone up on my ocean-side weeds if I'm to sound like I know what I'm talking about at salt marshes.

Day off at the shore

This past Tuesday Alexis and I had a rare day off work together.  We went to Webb State Park in Weymouth.
