3:00 snapshot #757

This is my snapshot from my fungi field walk at Drumlin Farm last Sunday (I'm that far behind again).

I'd love to spend a few hours blogging, fixing up the pics I have of some more species from the yard, writing interesting anecdotes to accompany my snapshots from the week. But I'm working tomorrow, so I have to go to bed soon. I promised a book review by the end of the month, so I've got to fit that in somewhere, and the weekend is filling up with stuff already. We have two new picnic tables, a grill, a clothesline thingy that we have to dig a hole for and sink into cement, a new foster pitbull arriving tomorrow, a ceiling fan/electrical outlet installation happening also tomorrow, and then Memorial day cookouts and whatnot. Not complaining, it's all good stuff, but it gets in the way of blogging well. It doesn't help that I decided to try Fourloko tonight. It tastes like chewable vitamins dissolved in lighter fluid, but at less than 3 bucks a can, it's cost-effective, especially if you are an alcoholic with low self-esteem. Take THAT Boone's Farm!

It looks like I'm pulling Charlie by the collar here to talk to him like a mean gangster, but I was just trying to get him into frame for the snapshot.

We had just come from Ward's Pond, where we hadn't been for months. It was Charlie's first time swimming this season! I took some pictures and found a fun monster.
