Five years ago today

Owls in the snow. I also stood on a pond. February 16th, 2007 also marked the first time since I started doing 3:00 snapshots that I missed one due to technical issues. Now that happens all the time and I don't sweat it.

Suffered some work-related insomnia overnight, woke up at 2 in the morning thinking about a specific problem--the infuriating thing is that I didn't make any progress with it. I used to think the phrase "don't lose any sleep over it" was an empty cliche.
