Toad update

I cross posted my toad question from a few days ago (why are toads cryptic and poisonous?) to the herpers community. This is my favorite comment so far: (reposted with permission from shellynoir)

1. The same reason that Stonefish are cryptically colored?

2. To hide from the crows that have learned to peck out extract their livers without ingesting any poison?

3. To hide from those members of the dog (and primate) family that have become addicted to licking them?
