Halloween on Bikes!

Today is without a doubt, the warmest, nicest Halloween day I've ever seen. Soon we'll get ourselves out there to enjoy it. In the meanwhile, here's a whole mess of bicyclists dressed up for a Halloween ride through the city. (Dialups beware: 18 pictures behind cut.)

Bread roll in almost every picture courtesy of Food not Bombs.

I didn't photograph all the pirates. Most were just people in their street clothes wearing either a bandana or striped socks or something. It's like the official costume of the anarchists and bike activists. This lady gamely pretended to have a sword for the picture.

Little Red Riding Hood brought his own bread.

How do you ensure that people will cheer Critical Mass, not jeer it?
"Go Red Sox!!"

Sometimes a photograph looks better than the real thing. Go Red Eye!

Not sure about this banjo girl business, but if you want to see better photographs of [livejournal.com profile] myshelds costume, go to her lj.
