I think they are "dead man's fingers."

The phrase "Found in Ringer Park" creeped me right out.

Allston! I used to live there. It never occured to me to ask if you know Ian and Jenny Adams..

What are those little objects? are they the fungi that go "poof!" if you step on them?

Yes, I know Jen and Ian. Ian and I were classmates. They are awesome, sweet people. I just made a copy of "Allston Rock City" which has them on the cover.

No, these aren't puffballs, but I'm not totally certain about what they are (see above comment).

wow, how cool that you know them! I met Ian years ago, when we both worked at the art store, and got to meet Jen several times. They are so lovely, Ian is a genius with his art and music and Jenny is so amazingly talented and insightful and sweet. Is "Allston Rock City" available on line at all?

I don't think so; That's why my friend whose old band was on it (it's a comp) asked me to copy it for him. You can probably find it at used cd places in Boston.

if it is "dead man's fingers" it's very aptly named. blue-gray bloated decay scrabbling out from the ground...morbid.

Awesome. In the most densely populated state in the union, no less.
