It's pretty accepted that red-tails are urban wildlife. The best pictures I've seen illustrating this show them perched on man-made objects. I wish I'd gotten a picture of the one flying over Fenway park, but this one is over one of the hospitals, 6 or 7 blocks from there.

Date: 2006-09-08 01:12 am (UTC)And I meant to post that the week before I saw what must have been a dead coyote (possibly a fox). Sad that it didn't make it across the road, but still cool to see one. Sad that I include roadkill in my wildlife sightings.

But I love how there are a good amount of wildlife sanctuaries and rescues and whatnot...
