I hope this isn't a dumb question, but is that turkey an albino? The turkeys where I work are all shades of brown, not white. Could you please comment on this?
Nope, not albino. She's one of the commercially produced white breeds. (not sure which one since she was a drop-off and I don't know where she came from) Most commercial turkey farms use white breeds. (I'm told that this is because white turkeys have more desirable skin; darker turkeys have pigment on their skin)
