I'd heard the urban legend about the Frozen Chicken Cannon. Hadn't realized frozen squirrels were such a threat to law and order, though. I'll have to keep an eye out for the little icy buggers ;)
yes, my roommate and i (both of whom spent way too many years "at the heart of it all") were just saying that ohio and frozen squirrels go together like peas and carrots.
Ah, yes, the great state of O-hi-o. It just seems like something one of the denizens of the Ohio I know would do. I spent 3 months in Mount Vernon, about an hour north of Columbus and I will be moving back here shortly. Where did you endure your time in the great buckeye state?
I tell ya, though, no other state has offered such great entertainment from simple "people watching." I've heard such interesting things by just sitting in a coffeeshop listening to the locals chat about politics and current events.
we both attended the fabled antioch college in yellow springs, that small bubble of liberal in a great sea of conservative, a stuck around for a year or so after graduation. my friend spent almost all his childhood in nearby jamestown, whereas i lived for some years in beechwood, a suburb of cleveland, when i was quite young.
Ah yes, that's the section of the state I hadn't explored very much, except for a trip or two up to Kelleys Island an Put-In-Bay. Oh, and fyi, I do believe Antioch was planning on creating an extension campus all the way out here in Olympia, Washington. They may still be planning on that, I don't know. They already have one in Seattle.
