[Note: All temperatures stated in this complaint are in Fahrenheit]

Right now it is 7 degrees outside my house. According to the Weather Channel, it will reach a high of twenty-one. Tomorrow the high temperature forecast is 44. So the low temp today is 13 degrees lower than an average February low temp here. The high tomorrow is projected to be eight degrees higher than the average high. This is why New England weather drives people crazy. I'm pretty sure we should ignore these so-called "averages," since they are so much warmer and colder than the real temperatures.

Well, the predictions also LIE. For example: Wunderground says that it's 36F outside right now, with a daily high of 35. Weather.com predicts a high of 44, says it's 30 now, and that it "feels like" 20. Sticking my hand out the window right now, I'd say it's about 40 already.

Nice of you to say, but from what I've heard, Minnesota beats New England for sucktastic weather any day!

Well, the -50 windchills the northern part of the state saw earlier in the month were a downer, but today is slated to be a delightful 27. That is short sleeve weather.

No. Check out Oswego. It almost makes it worth being extended in Afghanistan. 8 FEET of snow. And it's still snowing.

I don't know. If I was good at geography, I wouldn't have asked for Ft Drum.

Don't miss hookahjoe's livejournal posts. I don't know if they'll make you feel better or worse, but they show a really cold place to be working.

I'm never sure if it's global warming or the usual climate mood swings. I wish I'd paid better attention to the weather ten years ago...
