Winter beauty at work

In the absence of spring, I find beauty where I can, in dead weeds and ice.

This picture is a little hard to read, but I took it last week, before the blizzard, on a warm day. The ice on the deer enclosure pond was receding from the shore, but clung to the mud at the bottom.
