March means mud! Frozen mud.

This is what I found when I got to work today: the deer enclosure pond, half covered by new ice.





If I could pick one substance that symbolized the month of March, it would be frozen mud.

I agree with the frozen mud. "Frozen mud lagoons", as I described to my friend from Southern Fucking California, where swimming at the beach is a reasonable proposition in March.

Personally I like these photos very much. But sometimes while walking or more often while hiking we encounter views we would like not to see. Nature is incredible and the change is its charm.
