Disgusting Substance of the Day: Turkey vulture vomit. I brought him from where he'd been spending the winter over to his exhibit enclosure. He always vomits when he's transported, and it's just about the worst smell I've ever encountered. I had to drive the van with my head sticking out of the window.

Yum! Turkey vultures eat such interesting things so I assume their vomit is a delicacy...;)
