3:00 snapshot, #106.

Mom and daughter in the kitchen, as seen from the porch. Too bad it didn't go off about 5 minutes later, or

this would have been today's snapshot. A potted cat!

On this day in 365 Urban Species: Lambsquarters. It's actually a bit early for this one, but you can find sprouts of it around. A relative of spinach, it's well known in the wild edibles crowd, and is very nutritious. Recently someone told me they made a lambsquarters quiche. I'd eat that!

Wow, I couldn't even grow catnip in my garden, nevermind a whole cat! I'm impressed.

I hate lambsquarters.

And I'd never eat it.. but maybe that's because my MS work involved cutting all the leaves off of very big plants that had been sitting rotting in plastic bags filled with Ethyl acetate....

Yeah. That's probably it.

Potted cat looks MUCH nicer than jugged hare.

Lovely! We have a cat who loves to squeeze herself into what looks like uncomfortable containers, specifically boxes, but I'd bet she'd love to pot herself!
