The crowd begins to gather for the opening of the Forest Discovery Trail (aka "the Disco Trail").

Disgusting substance of the day: a lump of turkey poo that seemed solid until I tried to sweep it up. It actually had a liquid center the texture of acrylic paint and smeared all over the floor, releasing its fragrance.

On this day in 365 Urban Species: Cottonwood. The tree that makes it snow in June. This entry has pictures of the bmx track by the D line. Sadly, the bike course is no more, claimed by the MBTA for some other purpose.
