The fitting room at TJMax. I was trying to buy shorts for my trip. I loathe clothes shopping. They did have shorts in a 31 inch waist (a rarity which keeps me from having to wear a belt or bust a button), but one of the two I selected was way looser than the other so I only got one pair. I also tried on some shirts and was amazed at how itchy linen is. I ended up buying the shirt in the picture. (It's rayon, which was comfortable in the store, but might be sweaty in Hawaii.)

Date: 2007-07-03 01:11 pm (UTC)My fave shirt is one of my dad's old white linen ones. He gave it to me when I was about 16, and it was HUGE on me. The sleeves are still way too long, but I like wearing it over dresses in the summer on cool nights. That, and it reminds me of my dad, which is always a good thing.
