urbpan: (no stacking)
[personal profile] urbpan

A snapping turtle wallowing in the Muddy River shallows. I haven't seen this behavior before.

This balance, on a park bench on the Boston side, stayed up for several days!

Squirrel remains.

This balance takes advantage of the multiple trunk growth habit of this white birch.

We have one of those birch in our back yard, and a river birch that I planted in Junior High school. When I was really young, I envisioned making a canoe out of the bark peelings.

Is that a no rock stacking icon?

I had to look at the icon thrice to figure it out, and then I only guessed out of context, because of your rock balancing hobby.

Does this mean that you can't balance rocks at national parks in Hawaii either?
