I slept through the snapshot alarm today. After our Urban Nature Walk to Pope John Paul II Park in Dorchester, we took a nap. I woke up around 3:45 and took this picture of what was at the foot of the bed: Charlie grooming himself.

On this day in 365 Urban Species: Quince rust.

A moon jelly in the Neponset River.

I love the 3:00 snapshots, always have. It's just fun and anmusing to see what's going on at the same (more or less ;) ) time every day. You never know until the moment comes.

Do you have them all in one place anywhere?

I should clarify: the moon jellies are in the Neponset River Estuary, and the tide was coming in making the river flow backwards. It was salt water.
