Bowling For Rhinos update

The good news is that there is still more time to donate!

The bad news is, owing to a recent change in the law (and some justifiable edginess our city has about fire safety) the Milky Way has been shut down until they install some sprinklers. So the Bowling For Rhinos event will have to be rescheduled.

I'll let you know as soon as I find out when and where it is.

Oh my god, thanks for letting me know!! I'm off today, and was contemplating going! I just read an article about that law going into effect, and how it might shut down some places for a while. That sucks. Well, I'll see you there when it's rescheduled!

I hope you can make it when it's rescheduled! I haven't seen you in forever.

They're appealing the license suspension, because apparently their lease is almost up or something. It must be incredibly expensive to install a sprinkler system in an old building like that.

Bowling bowling bowling, keep those rhinos bowling...

Maybe if you had volunteers stand around the alley with spritzers, just in case. Or, make it a Lawn Bowling for Rhinos event, in a park somewhere. If a ball catches fire, you could dunk it into a pond or fountain...
