Noticing the year: 01/14/08

Today I noticed the exquisite blue of the water of the Caribbean Sea.

NO WAIT, that's an entry from next week. Today I noticed that after I cleared the snow off the Hospital Van, and the path, and the ward doorways, that the snow had already covered the Van back up, and the path.

The snow is winding down; it's a real interesting wet snow. Fling a shovel full of it at a cement wall and more than half of it sticks there. Pretty crap driving in it, but I'm home now, and I'll stay for a bit. Maybe today I'll catch up on some movies. I Watched "Sunshine" last night, and was not impressed. I Have "Rififi" and I forget what else. Also, I may eat soup for all three meals today.

I'll publish a full review tonight, but the short of it is that I didn't think any of the characters were likable enough for me to care about. The human torch there was the only competent crewmember but he was a jerk. I also felt that the spiritual element was forced and fake feeling. In general it took itself too seriously (there was one joke, and I wrote it down.)

The special effects were pretty good, except for the gold foil tardigrade space suits. I give it two and a half stars.

Oh!! I hadn't heard of that one. I was thining, what could possibly be unimpressive about 3 different Ralph Fiennes? :P

hahahaha :) I hope you have some fun there to make up for this crap snow weather you have been having...I love eating soup for every meal! :)
