Another nicely patterned moth. (Thanks [livejournal.com profile] badnoodles for identifying the last one.) I disturbed this one from its sleep and it flew out into the jaws of a gray kingbird. Whoops!

Found a few of these wandering into the patio area. Order Blattodea is as specific as I can get. Definitely not one of the species familiar to pest control technicians, like Periplaneta americana.

I've seen pictures of millipedes like these from lj friends in the American south, but much bigger. This one wasn't any bigger than our flat-backed millipedes back home.

Unidentified salticid. We have similar jumping spiders, but not this exact kind, I don't think.
They're my favorite kinds of spider.

Unidentified grasshopper. This one came jumping through the patio one evening, so I caught him and Alexis photographed him.

I found this treefrog by listening for him, creeping up, and surprising him with the flashlight. He's the same as the one I posted a couple days ago.

and a goat.

Mr. Goat looks like he's waiting for the t-rex to show up... :)
