New Soylent Screen Up!

Call me a sentimental old romantic, but in honor of Valentine's Day, I reviewed Slither (2006). It's the most self-conscious horror movie since Snakes on a Plane, deliberately designed to be an homage to the horror/sci-fi movies of the 80's. Brain slugs from outer space turn people into zombies, and Nathan Fillion is there too. Read my review at Blood Blade and Thruster.

Ah! Need to watch! *adds to list* And thank you! I swear we're only one of ten people total who got the fun that was SOAP. It was fun because the actors we're having fun and realized how goofy the entire thing was, and all I hear from everyone is "HOMG why did Samuel L. Jackson take up such a shitty role?"

Y'know, if it's out yet to the public, this would make a splendidly perfect horror film to review for V-day week. A horror film about vagina dentata, srsly.

Sounds like it would make a good double feature with Mausoleum, a really terrible movie I saw in college that was notable for two things; LaWanda Page saying "mother father" instead of the usual MFer and a charcter's breast turning into little heads with really sharp teeth..

ERM that movie totally isn't what I would watch on Valentine's Day...:P But to each their own. I can't wait though, Dan has a surprise for me! :)
