Brookline and the Riverway

I really like this picture that Alexis took, not just because of the cute dog in it. She took the picture standing in the Riverway, and is facing the block we live on. It makes me realize that 95% of the pictures I take within 100 feet of that spot are taken facing the other way. This really shows what my neighborhood looks like.

This is taken from our back porch, facing back into the center of the city block, toward what could be called a courtyard, but is really just a paved parking area. The colorful stuff down below is part of a neighbor's kiddie area, which may or may not be a gray market daycare.

This is the view from the Riverway, at about the Longwood stop on the Green line, looking toward the Back Bay.

Zoomed in a little you can see the Prudential and Hancock towers better.

This is Longwood Towers, a luxury condo complex that looks like a castle. The penthouse units must get amazing light from fiery sunrises like this one.
