I posted pics from my trip to America's Teaching Zoo, Moorpark, CA. Nothing earth shattering, except maybe the pics of the hyena getting belly scritches. Who knew hyenas could do cute?

I'd made the comment in the car before we got there, "What do you put in a teaching zoo? Really patient animals?" And when we got there, the graduating class was doing their big show, they had the most laconic, bored looking baboon, who was "Oh look at you, young padwan. You've tamed the ~yawn~ savage beast. Gimme carrot." It was hilarious.
