Today we blundered upon Ames Nowell State Park, in Abington. The woods there are full of stone fences.

Its central point of interest is Cleveland Pond.

Since Alexis got her new camera I'm trying to learn to use her old one. These ducks were really far away, and it was only once I got home that I was able to see them in any detail. The one on the far left is a ring-necked duck. I can't identify the other two.

.... Other sights on our adventure ....

We passed an ice cream place, and turned around in the parking lot of this haunted house to go back to it.

We had to photograph this, because we are five years old.

The topography of Ames Nowell back around the power transmission lines allows for some great views, if you ever go back.
