This film hints at something wonderful, but never quite achieves it. Beautiful images of Nature, and then the works of Man, unfold on the screen. Philip Glass' score provides an air of tension, especially on those scenes showing man-made objects--which creates an unwanted (by me) editorial effect. The music, lauded by many, is the worst aspect of this film. It is at once boring and unsettling.
