Shelter workers deserve chocolate!

I dropped off another cat at my local MSPCA shelter today. Normally you're supposed to give a 50 dollar donation when you surrender an animal, but since I'm doing it as part of my job, and I donate 10 dollars a month from my paycheck (I consider it a tithe) to them anyway, I just sign the form and leave the cat. I always feel like I should do something more, but what? Today while I waited for the carrier to come back, the shelter workers were talking to each other, and one expressed a need for chocolate.
I went home for my lunch break and walked my dogs, then stopped off at the drug store for a couple bags of candy. I quickly dropped them at the counter of the adoption center (mumbling something like "here you go") and left. Shelter workers deserve chocolate.
I urge everyone to bring chocolate to their local animal shelter. They'll appreciate it, wouldn't you?

I told her that she should stop anyway, and then we'd all miss our chocolate and pitch in. But she hasn't taken my advice yet.
