We think that rocks are solid, Professor Dawkins, because if you stub your toe on one, it feels solid.

I'm reminded of a story about a Buddhist student. "Master, how do I know that my existence is not simply an illusion?" In response, the master punched him in the nose.

The dream is a bloody strange thing (I sorta wanna call it an entity), but much of these factoids are meaningless to those of us who actually live in the agreed perception, rather than watching it. They're certainly amusing, because it makes you wonder if you shouldn't be able to pass your hand through that table :D
