Charlie and the snow prints

I took Charlie to the Augustus W. Soule Playground while getting my car inspected. We found some tracks in the snow. Here he's investigating the gory scene where a bird fed on the carcass of a sumac fruit.



Couldn't find anything online about this piece of land, so it's lucky I took this picture. Man, that's dull.


A bird takes four hops, two flaps, and is gone.


"Why do you keep stopping?! I want to run!"


And on my street, some bonus Ducks in a Stupid Place.

Does Charlie get cold?

He does, but if he's having fun he doesn't care. A couple times this winter he's put on the brakes and said, "nope, I'm not walking anymore" including yesterday, when everything was covered in a beautiful glaze of treacherous ice, and a week or so ago when the temperature was close to the single digits f.

But if it's just normal Boston cold (right now it's 24) he's good. He'll even play in the water if I let him. Perhaps you saw this?

Maggie, on the other hand never gets cold, but she does get hurty foot from all the salt.
